The 'red-headed wood-pecker' and the 'water oak' Dr Wiseman Coopers' Hall'Picus capite toto rubro', the red headed wood pecker, perched on the trunk of 'Quercus folio non serrato', the water oak (Catesby's identifications; modern scientific names: Melanerpes erythrocephalus, the red headed woodpecker; Quercus nigra, the water oak).
